Lord Ganesha is referred to as the patron of art, music and science. He is the wisest of all gods to be riding over a small creature such as mouse, which is also a symbolism of controlling your desires rather than letting them control you. He has a pot belly to digest the good and bad of life peacefully. His trunk is swung towards the right which are very productive for fast results when worshipped following proper rituals. His one foot is bend while other is on the ground.
